Success Tip: The FORMULA to designing a really great business or brand
Remember how I said that your customers vote with their wallets, and I asked what do your sales tell you? I heard from some of you in my Success Blog, “Grow Yourself, Grow Your Wealth” on how you answered this question. Well let me take this a step further . . .
No matter what league you’re in, the rules of the game and the strategies to win it remain the same. And, as most of you know, I’m into the WIN-WIN concept, your customer WINS, YOU WIN!!
Sometimes all it takes is the right coach to point the way. Designing a great business is really just aligning yourself with a series of small elements that, when taken together, become something truly powerful.
The formula begins with understanding that customers aren’t buying “stuff”. They’re buying their aspirations – the image of life as they want it to be; the image of themselves as they would like to be seen by others. If you’re selling them “stuff” they’ll be unimpressed, and your sales will show it. If you can sell them their own idealized self image, or help them with some of their biggest problems in life – your “stuff” will be flying out the door.
There are certain fundamental elements of great business that will make that connection with your customer on a gut level. Now I know you gals have all heard this before, it’s nothing new, it’s just we tend to make things harder than they need to be.
The challenge is to get all of these elements to align with each other and with your brand in a way that makes your customers experience just feel good.
Seriously, designing a powerful business may look like you have to be a genius. The information out there is overwhelming.
But the FORMULA is as simple as this: It’s really just a mix of :
- little bit of creativity
- vision
- a little experience (if you don’t have it, learn it!)
- in-depth understanding of YOU
And, be authentic in everything you do with your branding, your service or product, and your customer. Put all of this together in a way that makes them feel good, which in turn will make your cash register ring. Or in the cases of online marketers – our computer go Cha-Ching!
