The Sacred Purpose Compass
A navigation tool to uncover your True North. Decode the hidden coordinates of your life’s chapters and confidently navigate the next horizon of your purpose.
Setting Out
Before you chart your course, take one slow breath. Soften your shoulders. Come home to this present moment.
Welcome, beautiful soul.
Your life has not been a straight line. It has been a sacred journey through many destinations, each one a season, a teacher, a quiet gift, and a coordinate guiding you toward your purpose.
As you map these destinations, you begin uncovering the treasure chest of your life: your natural gifts, strengths, wisdom, passions, sparks, and lived experiences that may be preparing you for what comes next.
The pivots were not detours. The challenges were not punishments. The joyful moments were not random.
Each one left something with you.
A deeper capacity. A clearer knowing. A gift you may not even realize you carry.
This process is here to help you see patterns that can be difficult to recognize from inside your own story. Some may show up as blind spots, not because anything is wrong, but because we are often too close to our own gifts and patterns to see them clearly.
Pay attention to what lights you up too. The passions, curiosities, conversations, creations, and moments that make time disappear are sacred clues as well.
Purpose is not one final destination. It is a living journey, revealed through the seasons, turns, joys, challenges, and unexpected paths that shape you.
As you look back, begin noticing what has been unfolding all along: the gifts you gathered, the wisdom you earned, and what may be calling you forward now.
You are not here to become someone else.
You are here to remember more of who you already are.
Let’s begin.
So your journey can be reflected back to you by name.
For the whole picture I need three things. The day you were born, the time, and the place.
Why I ask. Your date and time of birth are what the reading is calculated from. The place tells me which clock you were born under.
This stays with you. It saves only on this device, it is never sent anywhere, and nobody sees it, not me, not anyone. That is a promise I can keep, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Type it however you say it. Any town in the world works, however small.
Choose yours from the list. This is the one I need.
I didn’t know mine for years, beautiful soul, so I am not going to pretend this is a test you can fail. But I do want you to know what it changes.
Knowing it opens how you are designed to make your decisions, and the season you are actually standing in right now. Close is good. I will use it, and I will tell you which parts rest on it rather than handing them to you as certainty. Not knowing still gives you a great deal: what you quietly retreat into when you are forcing something, the direction you are being pulled toward, and the language of your gift. I will simply leave out what I cannot know rather than guess at it.
It is nearly always on your birth certificate, if you ever want to come back and add it.
Give yourself some quiet time with this. It is not a quiz to rush through, and there is no prize for finishing quickly. Everything you write saves as you go, so you can close it, walk the beach, and come back to exactly where you left off.
Everything begins within. When you are ready, turn the page.
The Destinations You Have Traveled
Begin anywhere. A childhood, an awakening, a leaving, a becoming. Add one for each distinct season of your life. Four or five is plenty. There is no wrong way to remember, and you do not need to write beautifully. Plainly is better.
The Golden Thread
The same gold has been running through every season you just mapped. Four questions here, then I take it from there.
The thing you do without being asked. What people have always come to you for.
The same kind of situation, person, or lesson turning up again in different clothes. First thought is usually the right one.
What became possible only because of them. Say it plainly.
Something you are good at, that people praise you for, and that leaves you flat every time. Or the thing that reliably triggers you. Both point at the same place. Skip this one if nothing comes.
The old way of being, the version of you built for protection rather than expansion. Usually something you are still a little proud of. That is how you know.
You do not need to name your thread, beautiful soul. That is my work, not yours.
Answer these four as plainly as you can, and I will read your thread back to you in your Compass at the end. It is already there, running through every season you just mapped. You have simply been too close to it to see it.
Your Present Position
This is the present moment. Where you stand right now. Name it with tenderness, honesty, and truth.
Give this current season a title that captures its energy. Example: The Great Remembering
Roughly when this season began, and the shape of it. Example: These last two years → coming home
What are you feeling, learning, shedding, choosing, healing, or becoming in this present moment?
What wants to move through you now. Into your life, your work, your relationships, or the world. In its most authentic and transparent form?
The Next Horizon
You are being called forward, not back into who you were, but onward into who you are becoming. This is your next horizon. Let yourself feel it before you try to fully define it.
A direction, a feeling, a deeper expression of what you already do. It does not need to be clear yet. Only true.
Give your next horizon a name that captures the energy of where you are being guided. Example: The Lighthouse Years
Write the opening line as though your inner compass is already pointing the way. Let it be brave, honest, and alive. Example: She stopped waiting for permission and began…
The Soundings
A sounding is how a navigator measures the depth beneath the boat. That is all we are doing here, beautiful soul. I am going to say a few things back to you, and all you have to do is tell me what is true. Yes, not quite, or no.
Take a deep breath in. Take your time with this one.
Remember. First thought, best thought. It does not have to be exact.
