We are often taught that purpose is one perfect thing. One title. One niche. One big arrival, and then you are done. Beautiful soul, that has not been my experience at all.
Purpose is not a finish line. It is an expansion. Every time you say yes to the pull inside you, another layer of you opens, and another gift comes forward. The more you unfold, the more there is to unfold. You are always becoming.
This is such good news, because it means you cannot get it wrong, and you are never behind. Even in the seasons you feel off track, you are exactly on time. You do not have to have the whole path mapped out. You only have to take the next aligned step.
How do you know you are on it? You feel the flow. A sense of grace and ease. It does not always mean things are easy, but there is a current carrying you. When you feel lack, tired, stagnant, or like something is missing, that is simply an invitation to pause, breathe, and gently realign.
Let your purpose keep expanding. That is the whole p...
When an idea or an opportunity arrives, how do you know if it is really yours? Beautiful soul, let me teach you one of my favorite discernments. I call it the Two Yeses.
There is a divine yes, and there is a borrowed yes.
The divine yes feels alive. You are a little excited and a little scared at the very same time. Your stomach flutters. Part of you wants to throw up, and still you know, deep down, you cannot not do it. That trembling, alive feeling is your soul saying, this one is mine.
The borrowed yes feels different. On the surface it may look wonderful. Underneath, it feels heavy, or dutiful, or a little off, like you are saying yes because you should, or because someone else expects it. That yes belongs to someone else’s dream.
Learning to feel the difference is one of the most freeing things you will ever do. Notice which invitations give you that excited-and-scared flutter. Do not talk yourself out of your first response. First thought, best thought. Those quiet, thrilling hit...
Have you ever felt it? That quiet whisper that says, there has to be something more. Maybe your life looks lovely on paper, and still, somewhere inside, a part of you is reaching for something deeper.
Beautiful soul, I want you to hear this. That ache is not a sign that something is wrong with you. It is not you being ungrateful. It is your soul, calling you forward. It is one of the most sacred feelings you can carry.
For the longest time, I treated my own ache like a problem to solve. It never was. It was an invitation. The pull toward more is the very thing that leads you home to your gifts, your mission, and the fuller expression of who you came here to be.
So do not numb it, and do not rush to silence it. Get quiet enough to truly listen to it. Ask it what it is pointing you toward. That gentle, persistent longing is not a flaw in your life. It is the doorway to your purpose.
Magic begins from within.

Somewhere along the way, many of us picked up a quiet belief that if something is our true path, it should feel easy the whole way through. Beautiful soul, that simply is not true.
Hard does not mean wrong. Sometimes the road is just a little steeper for a season. Here is something I want you to hold close: right before a breakthrough, things often feel the most chaotic. You get close to the very thing you have been calling in, and suddenly everything seems to go sideways. This is the moment so many people stop, just short of the line.
I want you to recognize it for what it is. That is not a sign to quit. That is the chaos before the breakthrough. Keep going.
That trembling, uncertain feeling, the one where you want to throw up and you are thrilled all at once, often means something big is on its way. Breathe. Steady yourself in the center of it, like standing in the eye of the hurricane. Then take one more step. You are so much closer than it feels.
Magic begins from within.

Let’s talk about something that trips up so many soul-led hearts. Receiving.
We are wonderful at giving. We give and give and give. But when it comes to receiving, to letting ourselves be paid for our gifts, to letting good things flow in, we shrink, we apologize, we hold back.
Here is a reframe I want you to hold close, beautiful soul. When someone pays you, that is their way of saying thank you. Thank you for the transformation. Thank you for holding this space. Money is not the opposite of sacred. It is simply energy, and it is the energy that lets you keep doing the work you love while caring for yourself and the people you love.
You are allowed to be well resourced. You are allowed to receive. The more you are open to receiving, the more you are able to give back. So soften your hands, open your heart, and practice saying two simple words to life: yes, thank you.
Magic begins from within.

Debra

If I could hand you one reframe to carry for the rest of your life, it would be this. Whatever is happening is happening for you, not to you.
It is such a small shift in language, and it changes everything. When life brings a challenge, the mind wants to ask, why is this happening to me? Your soul asks a different question. What is this here to show me? What gift might be hidden in this darkness?
I am not asking you to bypass the hard feelings. Feel them fully, honor them, let them move through you. Then, when you are ready, get curious. So often, the biggest challenge you have walked through becomes the very gift you are here to share with others. Your pain becomes your purpose. Your healing becomes your medicine for someone else.
Nothing is wasted, beautiful soul. Not one tear, not one detour. It is all weaving together, for you, always for you.
Magic begins from within.

Here is something I have learned, beautiful soul. Fear rarely shows up announcing itself. It is far too clever for that. Instead, it wears a disguise.
It looks like “I am just too busy right now.” It looks like “I will start when things settle down.” It sounds like a very reasonable roadblock, a sudden wave of doubt, a tidy list of excuses that all seem so logical. Often, the closer you get to something that truly matters, the louder these voices become. That is not a coincidence. Your ego is trying to keep you small and safe, whispering, I have got you, stay here, do not go that direction.
I say this with so much love. Complaints and excuses are often fear wrapped up in a beautiful little bow. They feel like protection, but quietly, they hand your power away.
So the next time you catch yourself too busy, too unready, too unsure, pause and ask gently, is this true, or is this fear in a costume? You do not have to force your way through it. You simply have to see it for what it is. O...
Beautiful soul, so many of us go searching for our purpose as if it is hidden somewhere out there, waiting to be found in the next book, the next course, the next teacher. I did this for years. The whole time, it was already within me.
Here is the truth I want to hand you. Your purpose is not something to find. It is something to remember. Picture your whole life as a tapestry. Every experience, every joy, every heartache, every season you once called a detour, all of it has been quietly weaving a single golden thread. Your work is not to invent that thread. It is to notice it, and follow it home.
This changes everything, because it means you are not behind, and you have not missed it. Nothing you have lived has been wasted. The very things you once thought disqualified you are so often the exact gifts you are here to share.
So take a breath and set down the pressure to figure it all out. You are not building your purpose from scratch. You are remembering what has been true about you a...
